WMCA’s yearly Operation Santa Claus program works closely with local businesses and organizations to provide gifts to the more than 900 children in the greater Franklin County area. This program is intended for low income families who would otherwise be unable to provide gifts for their child. Each child will receive up to three items.
Donations of money and requested gifts come from individuals, businesses and organizations. Parent select their children’s gifts from our donated inventory beginning in December. WMCA will email families with their shopping date and time.
You must have at least shared custody of all children on the application. Those with shared custody will be required to provide the name of the other parent. If you need help from Op Santa, you will also benefit from some of our other services. To receive Op Santa, you must participate in or apply for at least one WMCA program such as fuel assistance or WIC.
